Hello, Spring! - handspun

This yarn makes me think of the riot of colors that start emerging in the springtime. This was handspun from a batt made by Hobbledehoy.ETSY.com. She described the fiber as: hand-dyed falkland wool, white linen, bamboo, and a wee touch of nylon firestar. I spun it up into a single that ranges from DK to worsted weight and there’s plenty of energy in this yarn. It would make a fun hat or a pop of color in a scarf. This skein is about 90 yards.

This yarn makes me think of a clownfish hiding in the plants in an aquarium. It’s a superwash merino plied with a turquoise thread. There’s approximately 238 yards in this skein. The yarn is worsted-weight.

This is some yarn I spun from Lorna’s Laces superwash wool top in the Layette colorway. It is approximately 150 yarns of worsted weight yarn. This would make a cute baby sweater, or there’s plenty of yarn here for a hat and booties set.
